Air radon analysis determines radon concentration in indoor spaces using long-term CR-39 detectors. Radon is a natural radioactive gas, invisible, odorless, and tasteless, which can accumulate in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces and penetrate from the subsoil through cracks, joints, conduits, basements, or crawl spaces.

The determination is carried out according to the ISO 11665-4 standard. The result is expressed in Bq/m³ and indicates the average radon concentration during the detector’s exposure period.

This analysis is indicated for assessing the presence of radon in homes, premises, workplaces, ground floors, basements, and buildings located in areas with potential exposure.

Teletest offers radon measurement kits using CR-39 detectors, in accordance with the ISO 11665-4 standard. The kit includes a long-term detector, a suspended installation system, a hermetic Mylar bag, installation instructions, and a sampling data form.

Once the measurement period is complete, the detector is returned to the laboratory for analysis. The report includes the radon concentration result expressed in Bq/m³, along with its interpretation according to current regulations.
